Greetings from Texas! I realized that I forgot to blog last week and during Fall Break so I found a little bit of time during my time in Texas to get a post in. Last week was full of midterms and tests so I was pretty swamped with that. Fall Break was a nice change of pace. I got to relax for a little bit and was able to pick up a couple hours at the Hospital that I worked at this past summer. It was nice to be able to make a little bit of money for this last half of the semester. During break I ran my first “official” race. It was a 5-miler that was at an apple orchard near my house. It was pretty fun and I had a great run. I ran way faster than expected and the adrenaline that you get with so many people running around you is unexplainable. I think I am hooked. I already signed up for a few more races for when I am home next. Hopefully I will have the same experience as my first one. Everyone else is going back to Luther today because classes start tomorrow but I will be in Dallas until Saturday! Right now I am sitting in the Omni Fort-Worth hotel in their lobby. My friend Cami and I flew into Dallas last night and stayed in a hotel. Today we went out to breakfast, walked around Dallas and are just trying to relax before the big conference. For those of you that don’t know we are here attending the Collegiate Entrepreneurship Organization National Conference. We will be spending the next couple days listening to entrepreneurs, networking, and learning the skills about how to start your own business someday. I will hopefully write a more detailed description after the conference but for now I have a lot of homework to catch up on. Take Care, Mario
