Room draw and Responsibility

Room draw and Responsibility

April 29, 2011

Hello! I got back from Break on Monday and it felt like I had barely had one at all. I had to work every day during it and I didn’t get a chance to see any of my friends. Also, since I was working all weekend I didn’t get a chance to do any of my homework so Monday evening was a long one.

A group of guys and I applied for a Farwell cluster in early April. A cluster is a group of 6 double rooms and 1 single room. We found out two days ago that we got it and we’re going to be on third floor. I am pretty excited because in Farwell the clusters each get their own kind of common room and their own bathroom. No more having to share a bathroom with 20+ guys (I am hoping that the bathroom stays much cleaner than it did this year…but that’s a completely different story) I am going to be living with the same roommate that I have this year so I am glad that it worked out.

In other news, I have been extremely busy because of how involved I am in with things. I need to learn to take it easy and give up some responsibility to my peers. I got a little overwhelmed halfway through this week because I have stuff to do for each committee that I am on. I finally just took a breather and turned off my computer and cell phone for the night to get away from it all and not be so stressed. It was a nice break, even if it was only for a couple hours. With only 3 weeks left of school, it’s time for crunch time. Professors are cramming in all of the last minute information/projects/papers and they are keeping me busy. I am hoping that I can survive until finals week without breaking down (I probably wont make it).

May 1st is coming up for all you seniors. I remember that it was a pretty cool day to see where everyone decides to go to college. I am hoping that the decision process was easy for most of you and that you are happy with it as well. Regardless of where you go I am sure you will have a blast. Class is about to begin so I should wrap this up.

Take it easy, Mario
