Hey Everyone After much anticipation and waiting, HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS was released! I can’t tell you how excited I have been for this movie. Ever since I found out that it was being released in two parts I just knew that it was going to be an epic event, and it was. Thankfully Decorah has a theater in town, and Harry Potter was an option because if it wasn’t, I would have drove to Rochester or La Crosse to see the movie and it would have been a long night. I am pretty sure the lines started forming at around 4 in the afternoon for the movie and by the time 10 hit, the line was wrapped around the theater…everyone who was everyone was there. The movie was amazing, that’s all I will say (I don’t want to spoil it for anyone that has not seen it yet) but you will not be disappointed, I am already pumped for the next part to come out (July 15) I will again be there at the midnight showing. After struggling to wake up this morning and going to class after such little sleep I realized that I am pretty fortunate to go to such a great school like this. The people really make the experience and once again I am reminded of this last night while waiting in line. It was really cool to see a bunch of different people from different groups all interacting with each other and bonding over a single thing (Harry Potter). There was no one criticizing you for being a dork and dressing up like one of the characters or walking around with a wand. There were even some girls handing out their own “Butter Beer” that they had created. It was a good time. The people at Luther really make the experience worthwhile and the friendships created are life-long. I am really happy that I got to spend time with some cool people last night and I look forward to meeting even more cool people as the years go on. But once again on a side note, Thanksgiving is around the corner and I am beyond ready for a home cooked meal. I cannot tell you how long it has been since I have gotten a meal cooked for me. Plus I get to sleep in my own bed and hopefully find some sweet deals on Black Friday. It should be a good time. Now I need to clean my room because my roommate has some friends visiting this weekend. Have a great weekend and I will update from home next week. Keep it easy, Mario
