Second semester just started and I have had a ton of reading to do every night. I don't think I'm quite ready to be doing this much homework already. This semester I am taking four classes: Psychology, Sociology, Paideia, and Spanish. I don’t think that Spanish will be too hard, but the classes that I am worried about are Psychology and Sociology. They don’t really mesh well together and they both have a ton of reading…and it’s only the first week. I feel like I’ve already read more in one week than I did for the entire first semester. The big project for Paideia this semester is the research paper. I have heard so many stories about how much this paper sucks but I don’t even know what to think yet. I hope it will be easy…but it is Paideia so I guess I’ll have to wait and see how it turns out.

This past weekend there was a Dancing with the Stars competition and my friends Kelsey and Bryce were in it together. They both won $300 dollars for “books”. They spent a lot of time during their J-term practicing but they did a really good job and deserved the prize.

I have a feeling this week is going to be a long one because I’m not quite back into the regular school mode yet. I did have J-term but that was much more relaxed than the semester. This weekend I am going to University of Wisconsin-Madison to visit my good friend from high school. That will be fun as long as I don’t get too much homework over the weekend.
