This week is a short week for me because I am heading out to Pennsylvania with my dad to find myself an apartment for after graduation. I originally was going to wait until after graduation to figure out my housing situation. One of the perks of being a senior at Luther is the option to live off-campus during your senior year.  Students in groups up to 6 have the option to apply to live off-campus and it is determined by how many credit hours you have earned by the end of January-Term during your junior year. I was fortunate enough to be approved to live off campus, so a group of friends and I signed a lease to live in a house in Decorah for the school year.  Read more...

With spring break right around the corner lots of people are getting excited for the vacations that they have been planning. A number of sports teams plan spring training trips to Florida and Arizona, while a large number of students head south to catch the warm weather and beaches.  Read more...

As the semester goes on I am spending more and more time in the pottery studio. Each week I have approximately 8 Hours of class time in the pottery studio and I probably spend about 5-6 more extra hours on my own in the studio.  Read more...

One of the most unique experiences that Luther students have is the opportunity to take a course called Adaptive P.E. It is a course offered to all Luther students where students with different disabilities in the Decorah, and Northeast Iowa area come to Luther College once a week to participate in all sorts of physical education activities.  Read more...
