The Ethnic Arts Festival of 2017!

It’s the time of the year again—the annual Ethnic Arts Festival is back with more new cultures to share with the Luther community. It was my first time taking part in an event this big. I was really excited because I got to perform two dances and represent my country in the tabling fair!

Behind The Scenes Behind Bars

The long-awaited field trip has finally took place -- I got to visit Prairie du Chien! What comes into your mind when the word “prison” comes up? I think it isn’t any different from what I imagined prior to my visit to prison. You’ll be surprised to find out what prisons hold behind those high concrete walls and razor wire fences. Also, I apologize beforehand because I’m not able to provide better pictures of the prison as we weren’t allowed to take photos.

J(ail)-Term!

There are lots of interesting courses to venture into when it comes to J-Term, and we do not have to worry about fulfilling our desired major's requirements because we're suppose to explore. I never really knew how much of an impact out-of-class experiences can do to help us learn better -- until now. The course is exactly how it looks in the picture, believe me.

Winter At Luther

So not long ago, one of our security guards told me that winter has yet to begin in Decorah. I found that absolutely unbelievable because it’s already snowed in on campus. Anyway, that’s just a small part of what I’m blogging about today. The last 2 weeks of the semester went by too quickly it seems too surreal. I can’t believe that I’ve already came this far.
