I always am super anxious about coming back to school. I worry about what the year's going to be like, if my classes are going to be hard, if all of my commitments outside of class are going to be too much. But the second I step back on campus, I'm always amazed at how normal it feels. Luther definitely feels like home, and it's so nice to be back.
I got back to school on the 28th as I was a part of the Consent Piece for First-Year Orientation. It was a really fun process and a really important topic (one that I feel passionately that needs to be discussed), and I'm glad that I was able to be a part of that experience.
Class started on the 3rd, and even that felt normal. I'm taking a beautiful dose of both psychology and dance classes, and I could not be happier. I love what I'm studying - I enjoy reading my textbooks! It's busy, but it's so nice.
It's also been really nice to get back in touch with some friends. Some of the most amazing people go here, and I always enjoy getting to spend time with them. It's almost like the summer never happened and we can pick up right where we left off.
Happy first week of school :)
