"The Invitation Game" Documentary

My senior project, "Liberating the Body: Applying the Principles of Movement Fundamentals in Work & Daily Life", strives to show how Luther's dance curriculum can be used outside of the studio to facilitate wellness in all aspects of life. As a part of my project, a documentary about a Luther alumna in Theatre/Dance was created, in which Laurie Meinholz (2008) discusses how she uses Movement Fundamentals in her career as a chiropractor.

24 Hour Musical

A large part of my January term and the beginning of spring semester has been dedicated to SPIN Theatre's 24 Hour Musical. Thirty-four Luther students, two choreographers, two directors, two assistant directors, a music coach, a stage manager, and two other highly talented members of the creative team put together Musical Theatre International's High School Musical over the course of 24 hours.

As a senior, I'm still trying to navigate when and how often to speak up in large classes. Today, I examine that struggle in light of how I'm negotiating when and how to speak out against examples of sexism in my day-to-day life.

Rat Lab

As part of my Psychology major, I have to take two Psychology classes with laboratory components. This semester, I am taking Learning and Behavior which has a laboratory component where we train rats in an operant chamber.
