Adventure Alert!

I don’t think it's really possible to study abroad without having an adventure or two and last Saturday was definitely an adventure kind of day! Check out our cool house trip to Cromford!

Wrapping up Chirsitmas...Get it?

I could go on and on about all the crazy things that happened on my Christmas Holiday! I'm still talking about it in my personal blog and it's been a month already. But there are many more fun and exciting things happening in Nottingham, so I'll wrap it up quick with the highlights of our time in Florence, Venice, Athens, and Turkey! Not everything went according to plan… actually some pretty important parts fell through, but I took on the world (part of it for now) and it definitely gave me a run for my money. It pushed back and showed me who was boss and I am grateful for every moment of it. Part of me will always long for the memories I missed out on due to the consequences of some of these events but this will never cloud the memories I did make because there are SO MANY of them!

Here We Go!!

Well, it’s here, my first long holiday during my time here in the UK. Very soon I will be heading off to go explore Italy, Greece, Turkey and India! I would be lying if I said I wasn't a little scared. I know it will be some of the best weeks of my life and I will make the most of it (as long as I keep my sanity) but at least I have some great travel partners!

Some Things Never Change

Yes, being in a different country for an extended period of time has hit me with something new and strange every minute for the last three months and I know the next six will be just as new and exciting. However, as we are coming up to the time of finals and winter break I have noticed that I’m feeling many of the same things I usually do back in the United States.
