The Little Things and Moments (via Snapchat)

Hi everyone! So for this post, I'll be including pictures from my Snapchat memories collected throughout the semester. Recently, Snapchat has become one of the most used social media platforms. In case you're not familiar with it, Snapchat is an app that allows you to send pictures instantly to your friends and update a picture story for 24 hours. I decided to use pictures from my Snapchat memories, because upon going through it last night, I realized that the pictures captured through Snapchat on campus are the most spontaneous. I hope that these candid pictures of daily campus life speak louder than words.

The first two pictures are Nordic Brew related. I try to make it to Nordic Brew by at least 7:45 every morning because the line gets super long after 7:45am. I have 8am classes every morning, so I always make sure I get a cup of hot chocolate to fuel me for the morning before class! And yes, hot chocolate over tea and coffee. The second picture is about one of the baristas in Nordic Brew. I don't know her name, but she makes bomb hot chocolate, and whenever it's her shift, Disney hits are always playing!

The third picture is one of the many art exhibitions in the Center For the Arts. There are always art exhibitions in the CFA, and I love the atmosphere they bring to the building. The CFA also has great lighting and comfortable study areas, which many students take advantage of.

The fourth picture is captured in my cluster's toilet cubicle in Farwell. The girls in my cluster are really sweet. They've been pasting sticky notes with motivational quotes and pictures of flora and fauna all around the bathroom. It not only brightens up the bathroom, but it is actually helpful especially when you're having a hard week. The pictures keep you going through the battles.

The fifth picture is a Norse cookie head! The caf made it once for dessert, and it's both cute and delicious! Sometimes they get more decorative, but I'm not a fan of icing so this one works for me.

The last picture is of my stationery. I was flashing back to how much stationery I had back in school, and how important they were for classes. It made me realize that my life in college is preparing me more and more each day for the world outside of our college bubble.

I hope this simple post for the week showed you a lot of the little things experienced by students in college every day. There are plenty of these candid snaps in my previous blogs, but I'll be sure to include more of these moments in my future blogs too to give you a real-life slice of our lives here at Luther.

Until next time,

Faye

P.S. Do add Luther Admissions on Snapchat for more of these moments brought to you by our very own Norse family! Their Snapchat ID is lutheradmission.
