Under the Weight of Knowledge

Well folks, this last week was certainly an interesting one.

One of the great and notable things that happened was of course the Pentatonix concert! Those guys really know how to entertain a crowd. I managed to be in the front row of the balcony, and it was definitely one of the highlights of my year so far! Avi's voice actually shook the building, it was so low.

Besides that, I've recently had some introspection into what I really want to do with my future. I love music and performing it, but while I was sitting in a recital I didn't really feel like it was where I wanted to be. I still have yet to talk to my academic advisor about it and seeing if there is still a career path into music that I would like, but right now it seems like it may be on unsteady footing. I have been looking into other possible majors here at Luther, and may perhaps even look at doing a classical studies or art minor while keeping music. It's hard to say however, all I know is that this next year will probably be a very telling one.

On a class level, as I said this is the week that the research paper is due, and I have my fingers crossed that I will come out on the other side. I can already feel that organizing all of this information is going to be a task, and this is going to be a very long week. I actually better get back to my paper, but as always, feel free to leave any questions you may have for me below and I will be sure to answer them in my next post as best I can!

Sing Well,

~Stephen
