The Last J-Term Paper

I cannot write a paper in one week and I am generally not a fan of writing papers. Little did I know that my paideia J-Term class would require me to write a paper each week. I thought the first two papers were challenging until I had to write the final paper - a research paper.

Submitting this last paper on Friday was like offloading hundreds of pounds off my shoulders. On the 25th of January 2013, I woke up at 6a.m to add the final touches to the paper before giving it to my professor for the last time before final submission. After sleeping only four hours, my paper seemed to make sense when I proofread it in the morning. I could not wait to get over with it. I went to the professor at 8a.m and she then told me the strengths and weaknesses of my paper. I had only two and a half hours to fix all the mistakes and to add more substance to the points. As much as I was exhausted, I had to force myself to perfect it as much as I could.

Amazingly, I finished the paper on time after doing all I could in one week. I have never written a paper in one week in my entire life. It was definitely a challenge but I was happy with the work I had done. I guess it’s true; you never know how strong you are until being strong is the ONLY option you have.
