This week has been another hard week of exams and essays – by Friday, I will have completed either an essay or exam (two exams for Anatomy!) in every class. It seems to be a commonly stressful time of year for most everyone on campus - we all seemed to have more work than usual to get done the past week and over the weekend. Adding in the recent shift to winter-like weather, I'm finding it increasingly difficult to stay on task and motivated - Hulu and my bed seem so much more tempting than they did a few weeks ago!
Despite all of the stress, I am finding myself eager for what lies ahead: in only a few short days, I will be home and seeing my friends for the first time since this summer. Immediately following Thanksgiving break, Christmas at Luther will be in full swing. Only a few short weeks after that (we’ll just not think about finals for now), the semester is over! This week, I also registered for my classes for second semester, as well as my January term course. In some ways, it seems like this semester has flown by, but at the same time it feels like such a long time ago that I was moving in and so unsure of what life would be like at Luther. Obviously a lot has changed in the past few months!
