A quick update on my life

Hi all! What a busy couple of weeks it’s been. I have been running all over campus doing different things for classes and extra curricular activities. I recently got elected on the Entrepreneurship Club’s executive board so I am taking on more responsibility. However, regardless of how much I have to do I find that I work better and procrastinate less when I have more to do. It kind of gives me an incentive to finish all of my work quickly and when I have free time because chances are I will not have time to do it later. I was talking to my friend the other day about how it’s crazy how much I am involved in compared to last year. I think part of it has to do with how familiar I am with the people in the groups and how well I can manage my time.

Last night we had Jason Derulo in concert. There was a great turn out and the concert went really well. It was nice to take a break from studying and just go have fun with friends. The weather has been great these past couple of weeks. I keep breaking out the shorts and sandals. I honestly can’t wait for summer. It is going to be nice to relax, spend time with friends and family, and hopefully make a ton of money (something that I desperately need).

Registration and Room Draw are coming up. My friends and I are trying to go for a Farwell cluster, which is 6 double rooms and 1 single room. The unique thing about the clusters in Farwell is that there is a big common room for all your friends to share. It’s really cool because you can all hang out and watch a movie in a big open space (rather than cramming into a small dorm room like we normally do). Hopefully we get the cluster otherwise it looks like I’ll be living in Dieseth again. As far as registration it’s kind of complicated. I have a lot of upper-level management courses that I need to take so I am trying to figure out a good course load and plan my schedule accordingly. I was looking at all of the classes I have taken this year and it is crazy to say that I almost have all of my requirements out of the way. When I was a freshman I looked at the list and thought that there was no way that I would be able to fit all of the requirements in, but now looking at it I am right on track for graduating in 4 years and that’s a good feeling to have. It’s time for class but I hope everyone has a fun weekend! Mario
