Midterms and Springbreak

Hey All! I stayed up way too late last night because my roommate and I decided that we were sick of climbing in our lofts every night. The reason we had lofts is because when the beds are lofted the room becomes a ton bigger so you have more space to walk around and hang out. So last night at around midnight, we started taking things apart and brought our beds down to where our futon and TV/Fridge used to be. We were making a ton of noise and having a blast but didn’t realize that it was past quiet hours when the RA knocked on our door to keep it down. Eventually we found a good set up and I actually like the way our room looks now. It was extremely nice to wake up and not have to climb out of a bed…it definitely makes waking up a little easier. I’ll try to take a picture of our set up and show you guys...it’s pretty neat.

It’s finally starting to look like spring around here. The snow is almost completely gone and the weather is fantastic today. I started out the day in jeans, sweatshirt and a North Face Jacket and ended up changing because it was just TOO nice out. It’s midterms week, which means, of course, that I have a bunch of exams. I just finished my first one of the week and I have to start studying for the next two coming up. I think it went pretty well so there is at least one positive thing to look forward to. I had my study abroad interview for Malta last week and we find out if we are accepted or not this week. I think the interview went well and I answered their questions to the best of my ability. Now it is up to the director of the program to decide who she wants to have travel with her for a semester. I am pretty nervous and if I don’t get accepted I am not sure if I want to look for a different semester program or just try to go on a January Term program. Spring break is 5 short days away and I can’t wait. I haven’t been home since January and I am so excited to sleep in my own bed and have a home-cooked meal. I am getting kind of sick of the cafeteria food and just want my mom to cook and clean up after me. I hope everyone is enjoying the spring weather because I sure am. I’ll update again later this week. Until then, Mario
