Decisons and Time Management

Hello All!

What a stressful week it has been and it’s only week two! Ah! This semester is going to for sure keep me busy. To begin I have an 8am class everyday, which to most people would be CRAZY (and it kind of is) waking up at 7 every day is a little rough but my day ends earlier, even if I’m struggling to stay awake in my last class.

Thursdays are my long day and this past Thursday was really tiring for me. I got up at 7, went to class until 9:30, had meetings and work all day, then had a Chemistry lab for three hours. So, I had been running all day long then I had to go to a chem. Lab and stand for three hours, by the time I got out I was ready to pass out…but I survived!

I’m also pretty busy because this year I decided to go out for the Men’s Tennis Team, which is a lot of fun, but also very time consuming. I have practice everyday at 4 until about 6, then I go to dinner, then I have to hit the books right after. It’s a busy schedule but it’s nice to be playing tennis again. I haven’t played since high school and I really missed playing.

But with my busy schedule with sports and meetings almost every day, I have to learn how to manage my time again. Summer was nice because I didn’t have much of a set schedule; I just did whatever I wanted when I wanted. But now that I am back at school, it’s time to get back into that groove which means less facebook and more homework…as hard as that seems.

I already have tests coming up next week, which seems like a shocker, but I have to remember that in college classes move quick and exams creep up on you. Before I know it, it will be fall break and half the semester will be over…crazy.

This weekend is parents weekend and I am looking forward to seeing my family for the first time in a month. It will be nice to see them, and they are restocking my food/supplies down here. I think my mom even made some banana bread so I can’t wait for that.

Speaking about time flying by, I am looking into study abroad options for next year. So far I think I have it narrowed down to being gone for a semester…now choosing where is the real question…I think I want to either go to Italy, England, New Zealand, Australia, or South Africa…so basically all over the map. Hopefully I can look into getting some more information at the study abroad office.

Now it’s time for practice so I’ll catch ya later.

Have a great week every body.

Mario
