Extracurricular activities: Norsemen and Phonathon
Connor feels that Luther is not just an ordinary college, it is a place one can call home. He says, "Luther has taught me that with hard work and dedication comes reward. All the professors are dedicated to helping you succeed in their class allowing you a better college experience. With their help, the overall friendliness of the students and the Decorah community, one really starts to love Luther. Not a day goes by when I think of how great Luther has been to me, and what new surprises it will throw at me next!"
Norsemen, the men's first year choir, has been a great experience for Connor. "I have also been involved in Phonathon, a three-week event where students create a team and 'compete' to raise money for Luther's annual fund. The students call past Luther alumni and friends to ask for a pledge of money to help offset costs. Phonathon is very fun, anyone can participate, you gain valuable experience with people, and you have the chance to reminisce with past students about life at Luther!"
