Thank you for your interest in helping your students through the admissions process.
Luther has rolling admission, which means we begin reviewing applications in early November and continue throughout the winter and spring. Students may create an account and apply free online, or they may download and submit a paper copy of the application (this incurs a $25 fee).
Each application requires an Educator's Reference Form to be completed by the student's guidance counselor or a teacher (see link to download this form). We value this reference as valuable insight on a student's character and academic ambition.
If you feel you do not know a student well enough to write a personalized recommendation, please advise the student to choose an appropriate teacher. Coaches may also have good perspective on a student's abilities, but we recommend that they also know the student in an academic capacity.
