You may apply work done at another institution toward a degree at Luther. Full credit is given for course work completed at an accredited college or university, provided that course grades are at a "C" level or better.
Course titles eligible for transfer and their grades are entered on your Luther transcript. However, these grades are not included in computing your grade point average at Luther. The credit granted for work done at another institution is subject to the completion of one year of satisfactory work at Luther.
A maximum of 64 hours of work can be transferred from a recognized community college. There is no maximum on hours transferred from accredited four-year institutions, but no fewer than 64 hours must be completed at Luther in order to receive a Luther degree.
A written evaluation of your college transfer credits will be sent after you are accepted for admission. To begin the evaluation process, please complete the Online Unofficial Review of College Courses form.
