Louise Dovre Bjorkman, a Partner with Larson King, LLP of Minneapolis, MN will visit campus April 24-27, 2006. Ms. Bjorkman previously served as a District Court Judge in Ramsey County, Minnesota for approximately seven years. Before being
appointed to the bench,she was an accomplished civil trial and appellate lawyer.
Throughout her career, Ms. Bjorkman has been active in many professional and community activities. She chaired the Appellate Advocacy Committee of the American Bar Association Tort, Trial and Insurance Practice Section and the Minnesota Defense Lawyers Associations’ Amicus Curiae Committee. She continues to hold leadership positions in the ABA Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section and the Girl Scout Council of St. Croix Valley. Louise is also a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation, an honor extended to lawyers who have demonstrated outstanding dedication to their communities and to the highest principles of the legal profession.
At Larson King, continues her years of appellate, civil litigation and judicial experience in her appellate advocacy, complex civil litigation and alternative dispute resolution practice.
