sabbath-keeping for sabbath-providers, Friday, october 8, 2004

Come Away and Rest--a Retreat for Church Musicians and other church leaders

You create the space for Sabbath for other people week after week. How can you nurture your own sense of Sabbath in the midst of constant preparation for others? Come Away and Rest! You will receive a beautiful new journal and reflection time just for you. A lovely lunch will be provided followed by a short ride to the small Czech town of Spillville to hear a concert of Antonin Dvorak music, offered just for you, in the very rooms where Dvorak himself once performed. To complement the day, the Vocation program will provide up to $50, with a paid receipt, for a one night's stay for either Thursday or Friday nights in Decorah or Spillville.

Participants are limited to 15.

Hosted by Ann Beatty, Executive Director of the Rochester Choral Arts Ensemble and brothers Steven & Michael Klimesh, local experts and natives of Spillville.
