Writing Lab

Paideia tutors work in the Writing Center (Preus Library 107). They help all students with writing projects, although 85 percent of our appointments are with first-year students in Paideia I.

Tutors help writers in all aspects of the writing process—pre-writing, topic exploration, drafting and revision. Since writing is a way of both thinking and learning, the Writing Center seeks to help students develop and support their ideas and responses to a text or topic.
