As the culmination of their studies in the fine arts, Luther College senior art majors present a gallery exhibit of their collective works May 12-21 in the Kristen Wigley-Fleming Fine Arts Gallery in the Center for the Arts on the Luther campus.
A reception for the student artists will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, May 20, in the Center for the Arts. Both the exhibit and the reception are open to the public with no charge for admission.
The exhibit represents the diverse interests and skills of the student artists. A variety of art will be on display, including drawings, paintings, sculptures, videos, collage and mixed-media works, photography and installation pieces. Work is selected and curated by the Luther art faculty.
Exhibiting artists in this year's show are Makeda Barkley, Adam Bartucci, Jayna Felder, Claire Firary, Max Green, Spencer Hodge, Savannah Horn, Miranda Joslin, Blake Klein, Josh Miller, Nathan Moore and Shannon Taylor.
