Careers

Luther‘s theatre/dance graduates pursue a variety of careers. Some are working professionally as performers in the highly competitive worlds of theatre and dance. Some are teaching, sharing their experience and enthusiasm with students in preschool through college settings.

Other theatre/dance majors earn masters and doctorate degrees. Some are managing their own independent theatre and dance companies; teaching in private studios; choreographing and dancing in dance companies and musical theatre and industrial shows; and working as designers and technicians in theatre, dance, and television.

Theatre/dance graduates are also establishing careers in such diverse professions as the ministry, social work, architecture, law, arts management, and public relations.
