Students in the Intersections program are encouraged to undertake a substantial (4-credit) research or creative project as part of their program. Students propose a topic of interest to them and work with a faculty mentor.
The scholars program can provide grants to help with research costs or to travel to present the results of their work at conferences. The application for funding may be found on the forms page.
There is also the annual on-campus Student Research Symposium each spring—a highlight of the academic year where students share their learning, insights, and creative work with the entire Luther community.
