Notice of a Tenure-Eligible Position in Africana Studies and History
Assistant Professor of Africana Studies and History (a shared appointment in our Departments of Africana Studies and History). Tenure-eligible.
Beginning Date
Late August 2009
Qualifications
Ph.D. in history required at time of appointment.
Responsibilities
Teach courses in the history of Africa and the African Diaspora. Required to teach survey course in African history; history courses within the candidate's specialty; and Paideia I, an interdisciplinary first-year course that includes writing instruction.
Salary Range
Commensurate with academic qualifications and professional
experience.
